The Arizona Health Sciences Center Contracting Office, under the direction of Judy McElroy, acts as a liaison for the UA Colleges of Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy and the UA Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health and its faculty, staff, and students in the development, construction and negotiation of contracts with outside agencies that are necessary to carry out the teaching, research and public service programs of the colleges. These include educational agreements, such as affiliations for UA and visiting students/residents, site preceptor and preceptor agreements, educational fellowships and specialized training agreements, and non-clinical, services-related contracts for programs and campuses, such as the Arizona Telemedicine Program, the UA/UPH Residency Consortium and the College of Medicine – Phoenix. The AHSC Contracts Office works closely with numerous UA offices as applicable and is available to provide advice and guidance when programs begin exploring educational and service relationships with other entities.
