UMC OFFICIALS DISCUSS UPCOMING TRAUMA PROTOCOL TEST

A week-long test trial begins Friday for emergency and hospital workers to practice new protocols for caring for Southern Arizona trauma patients. Before and during the trial, UMC officials will only be available for interviews on the following dates and times:

DATE/TIME: Today, Wednesday, Aug. 14, 11 a.m.-12 p.m.

John Porter, MD, trauma center director, will be available for interviews 11-12 today only.

DATE/TIME: Tomorrow, Thursday, Aug. 15, 8:30-10 a.m., and Wednesday, Aug. 21, 8:30-10 a.m.

John Duval, chief operating officer, will be available for interviews tomorrow (Thurs., Aug. 15), 8:30-10. For interviews during the trial, Duval will be available Wed., Aug. 21, 8:30-10.
