For the first time in the last 10 years new treatments are available for the debilitating bone disease, Paget's disease.
At Paget's Disease Day: Diagnosis and New Treatments, Saturday, Feb. 10, 1-3 p.m. , University Medical Center, DuVal Auditorium, 1501 N. Campbell Ave., experts from the Arizona Arthritis Center at The University of Arizona College of Medicine and the Paget's Disease Foundation will discuss developments in treatment and diagnosis.
Paget's disease is a degenerative disease that causes brittle and deformed bones and can lead to fractures and arthritis. Three percent of the adult population has Paget's disease.
